Draw a Horse Eye – Preliminary Sketching

Beginning with an outline sketch.

We begin drawing the horse eye by a preliminary sketch. Draw extremely lightly to begin with – this drawing has been darkened for viewing on display. Outline the eye in light pencil strokes, to provide yourself guidelines. Outline the real eye structures plus eyelashes and create rough guidelines for the creases, wrinkles and anywhere the eyelashes come from, what direction they go and how long they are. Horse’s Eye – First Color Layer

Sketch in the pupil plus eyelashes, by means of your strokes going in the similar direction as the hairs grow.
