Calligraphy is the most important Art of any culture it expresses the best Art of words and real expression which could be read and understood easily. Every language has a Calligraphic style of its own. But there are also group of Languages having same Calligraphic style it is because of their common script.

In this video an expert Pakistani Calligrapher is creating wonderful strokes of the Arabic Calligraphy in ‘Sulus’ Script which is standard Arabic Script. Arabic Script is written from right to left like Urdu, Persian etc. Some letters of the alphabets are written combined with each other and some letters of the alphabets are written separately from some letter that if they come at end of the chain then new chain of combine word begins as no letter can be written combined after those letters. This separation is also due to beginning of new words mean every new word will be separated by the previous one with a space. There are two types of vowel set short and long vowels.
Short vowels are not included in the alphabet, being indicated by signs placed above or below the consonant or long vowel that they go after. Certain characters may be joined to their neighbors, others to the preceding one simply, and others to the succeeding one only. The written lettering undergoes a slight external change according to their position within a word. When they stand alone or occur at the end of a word, they ordinarily terminate in a bold stroke; when they appear in the middle of a word, they are ordinarily joined to the letter following by a little, upward curved stroke. Long vowels are the alphabet and short vowel are usually signs they are not written in native Arabic area whereas in other areas where Arabic is less understandable these short vowels are written above or below a letter for other people who do not know Arabic and for reading “the Holy Quraan” etc. Watch this video for excellent Arabic Calligraphic Art.
