The Qur’anic painting of calligraphy, as we contain already noted, occupies the middle place in Muslim visual civilization.

Its script unites believers every one over the world, and the designs and decorative motifs based on the Arabic alphabet contain permeated every level of Muslim society. Today in spite of the recession of the Arabic verbal communication to the borders of Arab states, as opposed to its medieval role as a lingua franca, the Arabic script motionless expresses two great Indo-Aryan cultures, the culture of Urdu plus Persian-speaking peoples.
